You’ve got the goods—now let’s get them sold! This guide is your go-to for everything rack-related: what to bring, how to price, and how to make your setup seriously shoppable. Think of it as your cheat sheet to curating a rack that turns heads and racks up sales.
We love pre-loved fashion, but every piece needs to be in great condition and ready for its next home.
We accept women’s fashion only. Items must be freshly laundered, with no stains, holes, pilling, or broken fastenings. Think gently worn, not over-loved. Shoes must be clean and in good shape.
We only accept authentic pieces — no replicas or counterfeit items. We also don’t accept fast fashion labels like K-Mart, The Warehouse, or Shein.
Our shoppers are here for quality, style, and standout finds.
Top sellers include brands like Aje, Ruby, Assembly Label, Gorman, Country Road, and Seed. NZ designers are always a win, and natural fabrics like linen, cotton, wool, and silk are especially popular.
Think in-season pieces, standout prints, designer gems, and wardrobe staples. Sizes 8–14 tend to sell quickest, but all sizes are welcome.
To keep our racks curated and shoppable, we have a few no-gos.
We don’t accept anything with heavy wear, fading, damage, or strong signs of use—including stretched-out pieces or broken zips and buttons.
Brands like K-Mart, The Warehouse, and Shein are not accepted.
We also don’t accept uniforms, socks, underwear, or sleepwear. Swimwear must be brand new with tags.
Pricing right helps your items sell faster while still getting you a fair return.
Start with the original retail price, factor in the item’s condition, and keep it competitive—shoppers love a deal.
As a general guide, aim for 30–50% of the original retail price, depending on the brand and condition. Designer pieces can go higher, but they still need to feel like good value. Secondhand shoppers are savvy, and even premium labels won’t move if the price feels off.
Price to sell. Overpricing often means items sit unsold. Stay realistic, keep it appealing, and remember—the better the condition, the better the return.
Use the original retail price as a guide, then adjust based on condition and brand.
High Street & Fast Fashion (e.g. Glassons, H&M, Zara): 25–40% of the original price
Mid-Range Brands (e.g. Witchery, Country Road, Ruby): 40–60% if in excellent condition
Designer & Premium Labels (e.g. Aje, Camilla & Marc, Kowtow): 50–80% if well-maintained
The better the condition, the better the return you'll get.
New with tags: Price at the higher end of the range
Like new (worn once or twice): 5–10% less than NWT pricing
Gently worn (still in great shape):
Typically 10–30% of original retail
Shoppers are drawn to seasonal, stylish, and staple pieces.
In-season pieces (e.g. summer dresses in summer) can be priced higher
Trend-led and high-resale brands (e.g. Aje, Bec + Bridge) tend to sell fast
Wardrobe staples(denim, basics, skirts, dresses) are strong year-round
